At Worden Cornerstone Church our mission is simple.
We believe in one God, creator of all things, who exists as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is also known as the Trinity, or Triune God.
Genesis 1: 1 & 1st Corinthians 8: 6
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only son, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and was fully human. For our sake, Christ suffered. He was crucified, died for our sins, and was buried. On the third day, Christ rose from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.

We believe the Holy Spirit is one with God, the Father, and Christ, the Son. The Holy Spirit dwells within all who believe in God; empowering, comforting, sustaining, guiding, and working through them for God’s glory.
Acts 2: 38, Romans 15: 13, & 1 Corinthians 3: 16
We believe Christ instructed believers to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and He would be ever present with them. The Kingdom of God will be in completion during the eternal kingdom with our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We believe the Bible is the inspired and true word of God that serves as the guide for our faith journey.
2nd Timothy 3: 16, & Revelations 22: 18
We believe all have sinned and need forgiveness. By repenting and accepting Jesus Christ as our personal savior, we are saved by God’s grace.
Romans 3: 23-24, & Ephesians 2: 8-9
We believe there is a heaven and a hell. All will appear before the judgment seat of Christ. God promises eternal life in heaven to all who are faithful and believe in Him.

We believe Christ commanded us to love God and continue His ministry by loving, serving and sharing the gospel with others. We believe one’s spiritual growth must include prayer and reading the Bible.

We believe baptism by immersion is an outward, personal expression and affirmation of one’s faith in the Father, Son (Christ) and the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28: 19 & Acts 2: 38
We believe Holy Communion is done in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice for our sins. It is a time for personal reflection and is encouraged for all those who have put their faith in Christ. The elements include the bread, representing Christ’s persecuted body, and the cup, representing His blood that was shed for all.

We believe Worden Cornerstone Church will be a body of believers under the Lordship of Christ, proclaiming Jesus Christ, as the Son of the living God. Our Church family will live in harmony with one another, raising one voice, to glorify God and Jesus Christ. All persons are invited to partner in Christian worship and share your support through love, prayers, service, attendance, gifts, tithes and offerings.
